2018 Fitness GoalsI was scrolling through my Instagram feed for the umpteenth time today when I came across an account that listed their 2018 Fitness Goals. Duh! Why haven’t I thought of that? Thank goodness for Instagram right? So, here they are, my 2018 Fitness Goals.

The Instagram account I saw listed about three or four and they were simple. I will keep it simple as well.

  • Perform an unassisted strict pull-up.
  • Get in a size 8.
  • Run a mile in 10-minutes.
  • Squat over 200#
  • Deadlift 300#

Now, I don’t know if that last one is even possible. The last time I measured my deadlift was about a year ago and it was at 250# and increasing by 50# is a lot. We shall see.

And as far as the squat, my 1RM is a 205# back squat. But that, too, has been a while.

I can’t think of anything else. And these may change along the way as I get settled into 2018. Stay tuned.
